The route starts from the historic Piazza del Popolo in Vittorio Veneto, the meeting point of the cities of Ceneda and Serravalle who joined together on 27 September 1866 to celebrate the unification of Italy. The name of the municipality will in fact be chosen in honor of the first king of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II and will also become the symbol city during the end of the First World War (battle of Vittorio Veneto), where the Kingdom of Italy will defeat the Austro-Hungarian empire.
The route continues near the Fenderl Area, a very pleasant green area. The entire route will go around Monte Altare, a panoramic point at an altitude of 450m, characterized by a Cross facing Piazza del Popolo. This point can be reached by making detours through other paths. Once you have bypassed the Mount, you will return to the starting point.

Turn-by-turn directions
The departure is directly from Piazza del Popolo of Vittorio Veneto and heads towards the station, taking the railway underpass. On the opposite side we go up a path that comes out on a dirt road that we take downhill. We continue towards the Fenderl Area where we can appreciate a pleasant and varied park. We take the uphill path that leads us to some illustrative panels of the territory and an interesting project in memory of Tommaso, a boy who recently passed away. We follow the path on the left going up until we reach Casa Bastanzetti. Numerous paths depart from here and the whole area of Mount Altare is a maze of more or less indicated tracks. Following the track, we first climb gently then steeply until we reach the highest point which, if desired, with a detour to the left, would take us to the top of Mount Altare on a somewhat tiring path. Following the track we go down to Case Foda and from there to the junction for San Lorenzo. We will take the path 1042A first and 1041 after that, and going around the hill, it will reach Case Segat. We will leave the track on the left that goes up to the Croce del Monte Altare and along the 1041 we will continue up to the Castle of San Martino trying not to lose the main path, considering the numerous tracks, which will allow us to have splendid views of the city. From San Martino we will go down to San Michele in Salsa and from here along the Viale della Vittoria we will return to Piazza del Popolo.
