A beautiful hike to discover the southern side of the Baldo. The route will take you to admire the panorama of Lake Garda from the natural terrace of Malga Zocchi. The ring-route is mainly on secondary roads and dirt roads that climb up through the mountain pastures crossing the characteristic villages of Caprino Veronese. From there you can admire a unique panorama all year round, but this place is magical especially between spring and summer, when the meadows are tinged with a thousand colours.

Monte Baldo is known as the "Garden of Europe" for its varied range of blooms. It is the westernmost relief of the Veneto Prealps and its vegetation is characterized by the presence of four climatic belts: the Mediterranean one (up to 800 m high), the mountain one (from 800 m to 1400 m), the boreal one (from 1400 m to 2000 m) and the alpine belt (over 2000 m). A daily excursion is perfect to enjoy the panorama in one of the characteristic "malghe" (alpine huts) tasting the typical local products, the mountain pasture cheeses and the extra virgin olive oil of the Garda DOP.
The suggested itinerary goes along the Via delle Prealpi, which connects Lake Garda to the Cansiglio Forest.
