This walking trail on wide paths and dirt roads partly develops along the Sentiero dei Grandi Alberi (Great Trees Trail), covering the Montagnole Plateau and some of the most interesting landscapes of the Recoaro Terme valley.
Pizzegoro - Malga Morando - Rifugio Battisti
The Sentiero dei Grandi Alberi (Great Trees Trail) crosses the suggestive Montagnole plateau located at the foot of the Little Dolomites. These mountains are a peculiarity of the Veneto Prealps thanks to their rocky conformation and to the presence of steep walls and sheer gorges that usually characterize the Dolomite complex. This itinerary is accessible to everyone who is a bit trained. It will be an occasion to discover a unique land that preserves ancient mountain huts where to taste typical products and places of naturalistic value such as the lake Creme, a transparent stretch of water where you can refresh yourself and admire the beauty of nature.
