This ring-route mainly on dirt and low-traffic roads covers the whole valley of Recoaro Terme through mountain villages, flowery pastures and thick woods. It will be a great occasion to closely admire the steep walls of the Little Dolomites that stand out on the horizon in the blue sky.
Recoaro - Recoaro Mille - Rifugio Battisti - Merendaore - Recoaro
The ring-route will lead you to discover some suggestive mountain villages scattered in the valley of Recoaro Terme. The itinerary, mainly on dirt roads and wide paths, partly overlaps with the Sentiero dei Grandi Alberi (Great Trees Trail), which crosses flowery meadows and thick woods in a wonderful prealpine scenery until reaching Rifugio Cesare Battisti. Along the route it is possible to enjoy a tasty break in the characteristic alpine huts or a regenerating stop at the foot of the Dolomia walls that dominate the Rifugio Cesare Battisti.
