During this route you will encounter many different rocks (called 'Felsen' in German). Along the route there're many places with impressive panoramic views on Oybin. At the end of the route you'll meet one of the most famous rocks the Kelchstein ("Chalice Rock"). It is a mushroom rock in the Zittau Mountains near Oybin in the German state of Saxony.

Near the famous rock called Kelchstein is a small parking place. From there go up and follow the signs with the text 'Grossen Felsengasse'. On some of the rocks you can easily climb and have some nice views on Oybin. Along the route there's a small hiding place called 'Edmunds Hütte'. After this hiding place the path is going down. There's a sharp corner half way the route with can easely be missed. After this sharp turn to the left you'll see a high rock called 'Monk Wall'. After a while you can turn to the right to visit 'Mönchfelsen'. Go back and walk further down route to finally meet the famous Kelchstein rock.
Author’s recommendation
Of course you have to see the famous rock called 'Kelchstein'. But visiting the 'Mönchfelsen' is really recommended because of the nice view and a place to rest.

Turn-by-turn directions
From the parking place is basicly a simple route. Follow the signs with the text 'Grosse Felsengasse'. Pay attention to the turning point. There's a sharp corner half way the route with can easely be missed. The rest of the route is pretty straight forward.
