The Grenzgänger tour takes us to the summit of the Bärentaler Kotschna, which lies in the middle of a long mountain ridge of the Karawanken. The ascent takes us through a picturesque river valley and past plateaus that are grazed in summer, then through a dense pine forest until we finally reach open terrain on the summit. From there, the view sweeps far in all directions. On the way down we can take a rest on the Belska planina, a high plateau with a great view. The tour is suitable for average to fit hikers.
