Queen's Garden Trail - Bryce Canyon
The hike on the Queens Garden Trail takes us both along the rim of Bryce Canyon and a little bit into its depths. Starting at Sunset Point, the trail descends on well-prepared serpentines. We pass numerous so-called "hoodoos", tower-shaped formations of sedimentary rock that have been shaped by erosion over the centuries. And with a little imagination, you can see not only striking rocks, but also a petrified forest, the silhouette of London's Tower Bridge, Thor's hammer and even the likeness of Queen Victoria, after whom the trail was named.

“They take pictures of the mountain climbers at the top of the mountain. They don’t take pictures along the way cause who wants to remember the relentless climb, the pain and anguish of taking it to the next level – nobody takes pictures of that, nobody wants to remember. We just want to remember the view from the top, the breathtaking moment at the edge of the world. That’s what keeps us climbing and it’s worth the pain, that’s the crazy part. It’s worth anything.“ – Anonymous
