Bright Angel Trail at the Grand Canyon
The Bright Angel Trail is - next to the South Kaibab Trail - one of the two hiking trails where you can experience the beautiful, rugged landscape of the Grand Canyon up close. The special thing about the tour is that you start at the top, at the South Rim, which attracts more than five million visitors a year. The first few meters of the trail are also very busy. But while most of the tourists only went down to the first vantage point, for hikers and mountaineers, this is only the beginning:
