difficult
Distance 6.4 km
From North Malvern Quarry, the path climbs steadily to cross Happy Valley and onto St Ann’s Knoll and St Ann’s Well where there is a café and toilets.
Rising more steeply now, the path zig-zags to the summit of Worcestershire Beacon.
The descent goes via the col between Worcestershire Beacon and North Hill before descending straight down to St Ann’s Knoll. The rest of the way back is the same as the outward leg.
Author’s recommendation
On a clear day the views are outstanding. Be prepared for cold & rain as the hills are exposed.
