A short walk around spectacular scenery that's ideal for a wet day.

So often it happens that we find ourselves in the mountains for the weekend and rain barely stops falling and the cloud never lifts from the summits. Some days it’s ok to brave the worst of it and stick to the schedule regardless; although this is more about hardiness and determination than it is about fun. But it’s also nice to have a plan B: a fall back option that gets you out for a few hours, still displays some of the sumptuous scenery you came here to see, and also helps you work up an appetite for a meal and a few drinks later.
If you’re in Snowdonia, you’ll have to go a long way to beat this one, which in just 6 miles, takes in two of the most spectacular cirques the area has to offer, climbs to an atmospheric col and offers some up close and personal views of some of the most imposing rock architecture in the country. It can be shortened in places if needed too.
