This walk starts in Walton Hall Gardens car park (charge). Follows the canal, then a steady climb on good paths past the cemetery upto Hill Cliff. Following the old stagecoach route through a 'cutting' and onto open countryside. Note the watering trough cut into the 'cutting' for the use of the Stagcoach horses. Through Hatton and over further fields, site of the Creamfields Music Festival held in late August. This closes this part of the route, so check! Down into More village then back following the towpath to the start.
