This walk is part of a longer one unless you can leave a car at either end.
Apart from actually in the village of Ipstones I didn't meet another person on this walk and it felt delightfully wild in places, with no roads either in view or hearing. I even came across a wild red deer.
The deep wooded valley at about 3/4 of the way is an RSPB reserve, so if you have a faithful companion with you please keep them under close supervision so the don't chase or disturb nesting bird in spring. Otherwise this is a great dog walk where they can have a good run.
