From Lochgoilhead, take the Duke's Path in the direction of Corran Lochan. This is a bit steep in places but a good path (even in the wet) with nice views to Loch Goil.
Go through the "two gates" and then carry on for about 15 minutes until the forestry to the left thins. Then follow the GPX route up, first across rough meadow land, then increasingly steep heather moorland.
The route marked "down" on the track is actually easier, but doesn't take in the "Fairies' Crag" which is on the trail "up" and has nice views to the Loch.
The last bit up the Saddle is a bit of a scramble. There is a cairn at the top and great views over Loch Goil, Loch Long and the Gairloch. You can also see Corran Lochan which is near the end of the penninsula, and Beinn Reith which can be climbed in tandem with the Saddle (see my other route for this).
A nice wee hill although the going is very rough in places. You can, however, pretty much guarantee you won't meet anyone else in this area.
The return route is the way you came out (although there is a much longer way back to Lochgoilhead via Artgarten and Coilessan). If you are lucky you may meet some of the ladies on the way back (they are quite friendly).
