A fascinating ramble.
moderate
Distance 13.3 km
This is a varied and fascinating ramble where we visit the busy, picturesque river frontages of the River Blyth, where boat yards, fresh fish outlets and fishing shacks flank jetties crowded with boats. Later, by contrast we’ll be on the sublimely peaceful Walberswick marsh, trekking along the sea wall above the wide open landscapes of reed beds, dykes and pools. It’s a rich mix of man-made and natural scenery, not to be missed.
Take care on the Board Walk and when on or crossing the roads.
Accessible toilets at the car park and in Walberswick.
