This walk starts in Skelwith Bridge and follows the River Brathay to Elterwater. From here the route winds its way along the side of Langdale, with the Langdale Pikes towering high above. The route finishes at Sticklebarn, where a welcome food and drink stop can be had before returning back to Ambleside via the same bus.
