This is walk 6 from "Country Walks in the Rugby Area" by Jim Watson.
Start on the main road from Rugby to Daventry, as it passes next to Braunston. The route takes you briefly along the canal, before heading west across fields to head to the farms which make up Sawbridge, past Willoughby House. After navigating around and over the infant river Leam, you head back east along a straight tracks, which heads over the canal, and then to the remains of Wolfhampcote. There is an intact (but closed) church, a few building remnants, and lots of lumps to indicate where the village was removed to make way for sheep (which are still there!). Heading back toward Braunston on an obvious road, you pass the less obvious remains of another village, Braunstonbury, before returning to the main road.
