Walk starting at Great Thurlow, 4.3 miles. Along shallow river for some of it, along crop fields, trees but not forest. About 1 third on country lanes, passing through a couple of villages and a riding school, apart from that safe for off lead, check fields for cows. Seems pretty good for deer and pheasants.
