Undulating work through Woods, by a stream and up to the site of an iron age fort.

Distance 8.9 km
Start in Shipham. up a tarmac road then down through the woods to a babbling brook. Then through woods, across open land to the fort with amazing views over to Wales. Then back down through more woods and tracks back to Shipham.
Be aware need to cross A38 twice.
Author’s recommendation
Have a picnic at the top where the iron age fort was located.
