Why Mummy Walks
Parking at Holly Hill Wood park you wind your way down to the River Hamble. For children there are trees, stepping stones, rock formations and giant ferns to climb and run round, ducks on the lakes and deer and waders down by the river. Sometimes a seal to spot. If the tide is low you can cut across the marsh up to Brook Avenue, cutting off the road section and making the walk a mile or so shorter.
