Leave car park by heading down minor road towards ford. Keep left and at road junction cross stile ( alternative walk along road ) and continue parallel to road until reaching the Public House the Alice Lisle. Continue for 200 hundred yards and at cross roads turn right down IVY LANE. There are good views of Blashford Sailing Lake, later Ivy Lake and Snail's Lake from this narrow road. After a mile meet busy main road, A 338, at a T junction.
Tum right and walk along wide grass verge facing traffic for 200 yards then take good track to the right. Follow track to IVY ( LAKE ) SOUTH HIDE where the bird activity on the lake can be observed. Continue another 400 yards to reach WOODLAND HIDE where bird feeding activity can be observed a few feet away at several feeding stations.
Continue along path to EDUCATION CENTRE & TOILETS.
Take footpath in trees to the right running parallel to road ( Ellingham Drove ) Now continue on this good path East for a mile until reaching stile at and join minor road. Tum left and keeping to the right at several junctions reach the car park after 300 yards.
