A relatively easy section of The Ridgeway with a good cafe for lunch.
moderate
Distance 13.3 km
A straight-forward route with few difficulties from ruts.
It is possible to visit Segsbury Castle en-route.
On reaching the A338 to Wantage great care is needed as this is a fast and, sometimes, busy road. While you might go quickly downhill to the turn for The Court Hill Centre, consider taking a short detour via Furzewick Down and Black Bushes Barn at least on the way back.
The Court Hill Centre has an excellent café and is also a hostel providing good accommodation at a reasonable price. It is run by The Court Hill Trust. They can cater for the less able. http://www.courthill.org.uk/
