The south Gower coast between Port Einon and Paviland.
Distance 9.8 km
Like Rhosili, the coastal resort of Port Einon has an ‘edge of the world’ feel to it; there is only one road into the village and, for those in cars, no other way out. The situation for walkers, however, is very different, with a variety of scenic paths to choose from. This circuit follows the spectacular limestone cliffs west of Port Einon as far as Foxhole Slade and the turn-off for Paviland Cave. The return to Port Einon is less wild but no less interesting, crossing a series of wide, open fields with splendid inland views towards Cefn Bryn.
