There is some clifftop walking, be very careful of loose rocks and do not go to close to the edge. When you do drop down to the beach, be aware of the tides.
There are some road crossings, always be aware of traffic and be sure to use a pavement/sidewalk where possible, where it isn’t walk on the right-hand side of the road,
Some of the ground can be uneven, with steep descents and muddy/boggy ground. Ensure you have suitable footwear and step cautiously where needed, the mud is especially tricky in wet weather.

Food and Drink
There are a number of small cafes on the path side, and once you rejoin the main road at Pleinmont there are plenty of places to eat. As the day is long, be sure to bring snacks as well.
Points of Interest
Fort Grey Shipwreck Museum and the Martello Tower
Situated next to each other, both of these attractions are worth a look. The Fort is a Martello Tower built on a small tidal islet to defend Rocquaine Bay. It is connected to the shore by a raised causeway and is now known affectionately as the "Cup and Saucer". It houses a shipwreck museum and offers spectacular views of the bay and the Hanois Lighthouse. Within the building, there are various shipwrecks and artefacts.
The museum now has a temporary home in the building next to Guernsey Pearl. The main timbers can be seen through a viewing window and a small display explains more about the ship, how it was built and how it came to sink off Guernsey. The ship store is open the same hours as Fort Grey and it is hoped Guernsey Museums will be able to create a full exhibition of the ship in the future.

Vazon Bay
Vazon Bay is a large expanse of sand that is a magnet for the island's extreme sports enthusiasts.
Whether you’re a surfer, kite flyer or bodyboarder, Vazon is the perfect beach for you. If you want to get into surfing, Guernsey Surf School is based here and teaches all ages and all abilities.
The bay is also home to some great places to eat. If it's a light snack or an ice cream you want, head to Richmond Kiosk located towards the western end of the bay. If you want a bigger selection of food and rooftop dining with beautiful views of the beach, check out Vistas or Crabby Jacks at the eastern end. Both are family friendly and perfect for enjoying dinner after a day out on the sand.
