This route takes in the 3 Peaks of Pendle - Pendle Hill, Weets and Boulsworth. The views from all 3 Peaks are wonderful on a clear day. The Yorkshire 3 Peaks can be seen in the distance. Parts of the walk are on The Pendle Way and The Bronte Way. We walked through fields and on quiet country lanes but also had to cross a couple of A roads. I have marked this walk as unsuitable for dogs because there are numerous very narrow stiles and kissing gates in particular between Weets and Boulsworth. The Lakeside Cafe in Ball Grove Park opens at 9.30am and is welcoming for walkers. Between Boulsworth and Pendle the most direct route takes in Nelson Town Centre, the walk could be adjusted to walk around its boudary.
The paths on Pendle are very well defined now having had a lot of done over the last couple of years. Weets can be accessed from Gisburn Track in bad weather. Boulsworth Hill was very boggy however over the previous 24 hours we had very heavy rain.

ON THE DAY THIS ROUTE WAS CLOSER TO 29 MILES THAN 24!
