This is one of 3 "loop" walks from Linton .With the Fountaine Inn behind you ,cross beck over footbridge and turn right towards farm with beck on your right .Turn left just before farm and ascend along track and then footpath through fields towards Thorpe Lane .On reaching the Lane ,turn left and walk towards and then through the "hidden " village of Thorpe .Cross the B6160 and follow path through the field ,descending through a new plantation towards the River Wharfe .Cross the Suspension Bridge here and head towards the village of Hebden .On reaching the road ,turn right and then look out for footpath sign on left that takes you up towards Hebden with the beck on your left .After crossing footbridge ascend up towards the village ,entering just before Tea Room on your right .Turn right here and walk towards B6265 .On reaching the road ,turn left and just after the Clarendon Pub ,look out for footpath heading North West along High Lane towards Grassington .This path takes you through part of the Grassington Estate with the old Hospital grounds on your left .On reaching the village of Grassington ,descend through the village and on reaching the T Junction below the village square ,turn left and then right into the YDNP car park .Walk towards the Southern edge of the Car Park and exit here down Sedber Lane towards the footbridge at Linton Falls .After crossing the bridge ,turn right and on reaching the road turn left up the hill ,crossing the B6160 towards the village of Linton .Enjoy a pint or two of Hetton Pale Ale at the Fountaine Inn !!
