At about nine miles, this is a beautiful coastal walk, taking in one of England's best beaches.

This 9 mile walk starts and finishes in Woolacombe with Croyde as the turning point. On the way out it goes around the Baggy Point headland, cutting across on the way back. The 2 mile beach can be used on both the outward and inward journey as the beach is only covered at the highest tides. There is a path through the dunes and a bridleway, using the linear car park, if required. My wife insisted on a paddle all the way back on our walk and, at 2 miles, this must be the longest paddle we have ever done. Our calf muscles reflected this the next day.
