A short , linear walk on easy and well defined tracks but with a steep start. There and back just over 3 miles. The walk takes you up the valley side on pleasant rural tracks crossing a small stream en route. The walk takes you to the pretty village of Netherthong where there are two pubs, a shop and the cider press where this walk terminates. You can either retun by the same route or take New Road from Netherthong down to Huddersfield Road in Holmfirth.
