A cracking walk for all ages to enjoy, starting and ending in Keswick town centre.

I really enjoyed this walk with my family (wife and 2 kids, youngest age 11).
The start of the walk brought fog and light rain. Visibility was extremely poor, with the slog up to Walla Crag only briefly abated by the passage through the woods adjacent to Brockle breck.
We reached Walla Crag and stopped for a sandwich and a drink. Whilst pondering the merits of continuing to brave the poor conditions, we could just make out the faintest of blue skies above, which gave us all some enthusiasm to venture further.
On the way to Bleaberry fell we met a lovely old lady. She told us (quite sternly) to keep going, as there's "blue skies and fantastic views" awaiting our arrival at the fell summit. So we continued on, with the thoughts of an about turn to Keswick for beer and food all but a fading fantasy (I admit I was very tempted at one stage!).
We reached Bleaberry fell in double quick time and we were greeted with the most epic views (I'll upload some more photos shortly).
The walk continues with a slight decent before the climb to High Seat. In wet conditions the plateau between the two fells can get very boggy, so carefully navigation is required. This can slow the journey time down quite a bit, so plan this into your schedule if heading out with limited daylight hours.
After a brief break at High Seat summit, we started our descent toward Derwent Water, picking up the main road to Keswick. The main road greets you with a bus stop; which may be useful for those wishing to make the return to Keswick a little easier on the feet! Or, as in my case, removing the need to carry my 11-year-old daughter all the way back!
