Eastern Monadh Liath Three

I wish I'd left Carn Dearg, Carn Sgulain & A'Chailleach from Newtonmore until the winter.

Started at the Newtonmore services on the edge of town, finished in the Glen Hotel Bar.

I was time pressured so walked\jogged this 31.5km route in 5 hours 50 minutes which should give you some idea of how pretty straightforward it is. The guide books warn of a wide open plateau which may be be difficult to navigate in poor visibility. Maybe so, but the line of fence posts linking all three hills should be the perfect handrail to get you across!

When you run out of path to Carn Dearg it gets a bit boggy and it's similar when you drop of A'Chailleach but not bad. The palteau is fairly flat with rocks and boulders to skip over.
