Climb up to an old peat trackway past Great Nodden to a tram turning circle for coffee stop.
This might be a good turning point if you don't want to try the rocky section.
The track now becomes much rougher as it climbs to a cutting between Woodcock Hill and Great Links Tor before descending slightly to the ruins of the peat works and Naphtha works.
A track leads off right to the ruins of Bleak House but this is walking only.
