A circular walk from home route from Colehill in Dorset, starting and finishing at Colehill Library and taking in the Bytheway Field SANG and the River Stour between Little Canford and Wimborne Minster. Returning past the new "Saxonbury" housing development, football club and skate park and then via the Leigh Common Nature Reserve.
The riverside walking parts may be muddy and there are a couple of easy stiles to negotiate - so it is not suitable for wheelchairs.
There are opportunities to see Kingfisher, nesting Mute Swan, other water birds and the occasional otter.
There are various options to shorten or lengthen the route by either taking the footbridge over the A31 or by continuing towards the town as far as the Water's Edge development.
