The weather can play a big part in the trail conditions - if it's wet then be prepared for some sections to be quite slippery. Watch out for cars whilst walking on the roads and, as you will be walking through fields with livestock take care to close gate and to not startle any animals.
Some parts of the route require you to walk on main roads, which may see a lot of traffic depending on the time of year so beware of vehicles passing.
Tips and hints
Make sure to bring water and snacks with you as you won't have the opportunity to purchase while out on the walk. Although some trails are clearly marked, others are less clear. There may be alternative routes other than those previously recorded, so don't worry about straying slightly from the route if you notice a better opportunity!
