A long walk with some moderate gradients exploring part of Sir Walter Scott’s Abbotsford Estate. Walk up through Rhymers Glen to Cauldshiels Loch, then drop down to the riverside path passing the front of Abbottsford House and back by the Tweed to Melrose along the Borders Abbeys.
