Part way along the valley you pass Guzzle hole, here you can see the underground river flowing just inside the cave entrance, a short distance further on it emerges to continue it above ground course to the sea at Pwlldu Bay, from here you follow the Wales Coast Path around Pwlldu Head to Southgate, a great place to stop for refreshments at the Three Cliffs Cafe.
The return journey heads back through Bishopston Valley, to Kittle for a after walk drink at the Beaufort Arms, before following the Old Kittle Road back to Bishopston.

The start is a bit adventurous following the dried out river bed along the Bishopston Valley, it's rough and rocky for about 3/4km to Guzzle hole, the rest of route follows good footpaths and tracks through woods and along coastal paths.
