This is a great walk I did with the Chester-le-Street Ramblers. The first half of the walk it's easy peasy. Pretty flat all the way to the Castle where there are picnic benches to have lunch Half way round.
Then after the castle things get a little harder nothing to strenuous however can get very muddy underfoot and a few small hills to climb. Beautiful woodlands, rivers and castles too.
