Ben Donich Circular

This walk starts and finishes in Lochgoilhead.

From the village you go start on the walk to the Donich falls and then up on to forestry commission track starting to go round Ben Donich.  There is then a section of marked but rather marshy ground between the end of the Forestry track and the descent into Glen Croe.  This is a little steep but there is a path of sorts which descends down to take you back onto Forestry roads again.

From there it's plain sailing on Forestry tracks all the way round the hill and back down via Gleann Mor descending towards lochgoilead.

At pole straights there's the option to walk back in on the road (which is marked on this route) or you can stay on the forestry track and complete the loop either by coming down via the Donich falls again or by coming down a path known locally as the "zig zag path"
