A superb hidden corner of the Cowal. The route offers spectacular views but certainly deserves its rating of hard - you won't find many paths on these mountains and time and forestry activities mean that paths higher up and tracks lower down aren't necessarily shown accurately on maps. Some very steep slopes to negotiate - go in drier weather and well prepared!
