A circular walk taking in the open spaces in and around Abbots Langley. Not designed to be an exhaustive tour, more a taster of areas you may want to explore in more detail, especially the Heritage Trail in Leavesden Country Park.

Abbots Langley has a wide range of open spaces for recreation and enjoyment. These include woodlands, recreation grounds, wild flower meadows and a country park. At a steady pace the walk should not take more than about an hour. But if you want to take longer there are plenty of areas you can explore in more detail.
Starting Point
The car park at the start of the walk is free, has around 100 spaces and is rarely full. Causeway House Car Park, High Street, Abbots Langley, WD5 0AW.

Bus Services
A number of Arriva bus services stop in the High Street, search for "Abbots Langley Henderson Hall" which is the closest bus stop to the start of the walk.
Refreshments
Lots of cafes, coffee shops, bakers and other shops in Abbots Langley High Street. The walk passes the Royal Oak pub towards the end.
There is the Woodlands Cafe and Community Toilet in Leavesden Country Park. They are not on the walk route, but there are plenty of maps in the park which will direct you to the North Side where these are located.
