Stage 3 of ‘O Fôn i Fynwy’, an end to end walk across Wales
moderate
Distance 12.4 km
East of Cemaes, the tiny Llanbadrig Church marks the start of one of the most attractive stretches of coastline on Anglesey. The path is a real rollercoaster, climbing and descending steeply several times. Beyond Porth Wen, the coastal slopes are more gentle and the walking less demanding. Emerging in Bull Bay, we follow low rocky cliffs towards Amlwch, initially alongside a road. With Amlwch ahead, we cross an old industrial area towards the town’s narrow harbour.
