Low cliff top walking to Broadstairs, wealthy suburban streets, Ramsgate port. Inland from Cliffs End and Pegwell Bay for a riverside walk before crossing Royal St George's Golf Course. Shingle beach with roadside option to end.

Plenty to see through a dickensian Broadstairs and the once busy port town of Ramsgate but with the route heading inland from Cliffs End and Pegwell Bay the walk loses some of its coastal appeal. Returning to the coast via the dunes and fairways of the very expensive Royal St George's golf club the route emerges to walk along or alongside a shingle beach all the way to Deal.
