Bradwell Waterside to Creeksea via Sales Point, Holliwell Point, Burnham-on-Crouch.
Nearly all sea bank with occasional concrete sea wall. Waterside path at Burnham and large marina at the end.
No Marked Trail
A very flat and tedious day of exposed walking with vast open stretches of sea bank and occasional lengths of concrete sea wall. After passing the decommissioning works of Bradwell power station there is very little to catch the eye. On turning the headland and beginning the walk up the River Crouch loud bangs, flashes and plumes of smoke from the MoD range over the water at Foulness are common. The scenery barely changes all day until Burnham-on-Crouch brings some respite with numerous sailing clubs and a huge marina to walk around at the end of the day.
