Hollesley Bay to Felixstowe via Shingle Street, Alderton, Melton, Woodbridge, Waldringfield.
A walk up and down the River Deben via Woodbridge. Plenty of sea bank, fields, tracks and lanes up and down both sides of the river. All very muddy in wet weather. WARNING: Do not attempt to follow the marked OS path down river through Spinny Marsh, South of Waldringfield - it has been washed away.
Suffolk Coast Path (briefly as it diverts for the summer only ferry to Felixstowe)
Sandlings Walk (from Woodbridge)
Expect to get muddy if it has rained recently. The route follows marked paths as far as possible but not the Suffolk Coast Path, which heads for the seasonal ferry to Felixstowe which I didn't use. The route occasionally crosses muddy fields and I made the mistake of trying to walk along an OS marked path South of Waldringfield through Spinny Marsh - the path has been washed away. This route has been corrected to avoid that section. Rated hard due to the distance.
