Kilnsea to Paull via Skeffling, Sunk Island, Stone Creek, The Outstray.
Turn the headland and up the Humber estuary. Lanes first and then 6 miles of grass topped sea wall. Inland across farmland to lanes before returning to the sea wall to end.
No Marked Trail
With lanes to start there is an additional option to walk to Spurn Head and back (a 7 mile round trip) before turning up the Humber estuary for a very flat featureless walk along grass topped sea wall. A fenced sluice marks a turn inland across farmland to pick up bone straight lanes. Eventually the route returns to the sea wall and the only views are of the industry on the South bank of the Humber. The area near Kilnsea is very popular with bird watchers.
