A circular up Gala Hill and around Galashiels. This event saw the birth of Scottish Borders Walk and was attended by a mix a people. Loads of people made there way down from the Edinburgh area for this walk.

Heading from the centre of Galashiels this walk takes in views of the Scottish Borders from the Braes (slopes) o Gala Hill. From here the walk takes you along the River Tweed where views of Abbostford - home to writer Sir Walter Scott - are on hand. Following the River Gala the walk heads back into Galashiels.
