Woodland walk along the John Muir Way. Through the grounds of the Dalmeny Estate then inland for Cramond Bridge and back down a riverside path for Cramond. Streets skirting Edinburgh via Granton Harbour and the Port of Leith. Portobello promenade. Golf courses - lots of them.
John Muir Way
A lovely woodland walk and cycleway starts the day on the John Muir Way and ducks inland through the Dalmeny Estate for a brief road walk before heading riverside to Cramond. It is then streets around the suburbs of Edinburgh with Granton Harbour and the redeveloped Port of Leith. Portobello is clearly a revamped and quite trendy little place for a promenade stroll with a plethora of golf courses to skirt on the way to Musselburgh.
