Nairn to Burghead via Low Wood, Kintessack, Forres, Kinloss, Findhorn, Burghead Bay.
Sand from the start then into the forest for track through Low Wood. Drop inland to pick up the lanes and to cross the Findhorn River. Brief riverside walk then more lanes to Findhorn. Dunes and 6 miles of sandy beach to the end.
No Marked Trail
More of a decent coast walking day with a beach to start but quickly followed by a lengthy forest track and a nip inland for the lanes to find an easy crossing of the Findhorn River. A brief woodland walk then emerges for lane walking all the way to Findhorn. It might be worth a visit to the Findhorn Foundation if time permits. Dunes and sandy beach all the way around Burghead Bay ends at Burghead itself.
