Fiunary to Kinlochteacuis via Bunavullin, Drimnin, Auliston Point, Doirlinn.
Lane to start but up track into the Drimnin Estate and the old road to Doirlinn around Auliston Point. From Doirlinn the path becomes rough and very overgrown with deep thick bracken, bog and deciduous woodland. Opens out to cultivated forest tracks and lane to end.
Old Doirlinn Road - not a formal trail
A definite top 20 walk of mine. From start to finish this walk had everything. An easy lane to start with view over the Sound of Mull plus the Wishing Stone. Once into the Drimnin Estate the views just got better with a panormama around from Tobermory on Mull to West Ardnamurchan and Ben Hiant. The old road is a track which ends at a single rundown cottage. From here the path is overgrown and not marked on an OS map. Eventually the bog, bracken and woodland open out to forest tracks. Lane to finish a nigh on perfect walk.
