A very flat day with little of interest other than a ruined castle at Flint and the industry around Connah's Quay. No signs to indicate a Wales / England border, so look out for the planning permission signs to tell you when. Cheshire immediately leafy and typically wealthier. Farmland and lanes through well kept villages.
