Short narrow beach walk and grassland above mud and shingle foreshore, woodland and low cliffs, lowland farmland. Up onto rolling hills and sharp drop to end.

Flat until Llanrhystud - parallel and below A487. Up onto lush hills with derelict farms. Not quite so many acres of caravan parks. Beware nesting buzzards! Climbing all second half of day and very steep descent with great views into Aberystwyth.
