Plenty of ascent similar to SW Coast Path, steep valley traverses, inlets, bays and havens. From Solva cliffs become softer, lower and rolling.
Wales Coast Path
Pembrokeshire Coast Path (International Appalachian Trail)
Very similar in feel to some of the best parts of the SW Coast Path. Steep valleys feel less daunting. Inlets and havens are tranquil and stunning. Steep and rugged all the way to Solva where it flattens out a little. Worth stopping to watch the current running over The Bitches between the mainland and Skomer. Expect over 5,000ft of ascent which combined with nearly 24 miles makes this a very long day indeed.
